Research Synopsis: Broadly, my research aims to understand the role stereotypes and prejudice play in racial/ethnic disparities across an array of educational and health outcomes. In addition, I am interested in developing theory-based interventions designed to attenuate the adverse effects they have on members of stigmatized groups.
